Item:173667246013An exceptional and stunning antique Meiji period Japanese bronze mirror. The mirror is polished to one side; the other side is moulded in relief with two cranes and a lucky turtle on a shore with a large Sakura tree. Signed to left side of the scene. The mirror has had its handle removed (photo 12). It has been used as a wall plaque. A chain has been added for this. Unfortunately one of the hooks has broken (for photographic purposes I used a paper clip to attach the chain). This would be an easy fix. This mirror would look beautiful sympathetically framed. Approx Sizes: Diameter: 21cm (8 & 1/4”) Max Depth: 4mm (1/8”) Please see all photos using the zoom function available, as they constitute the item description. International GSP postage can be combined. However, you must contact me regarding the items before making a purchase. Please note, I only ship internationally via eBay’s GSP service, as the U.K. does not provide a fully tracked service. Check out my other listings for more antiques, vintage and collectables.
